My stay at the campground was quite disappointing. While it was nice to have electric and water RV hookups nearby, the facilities left much to be desired. The bathrooms were inadequate for the number of guests, and the sanitation dump area was poorly designed. The Wi-Fi barely worked, and the laundry situation was frustrating as well. Overall, it's a decent stop for a night, but expect more basic conditions.

The facilities were not impressive, with only two toilets and two showers for too many guests. The sanitation dump was poorly designed.

We recently stayed at this campground, which had its ups and downs. On the bright side, the owners were friendly, and the washrooms and showers were clean. However, we encountered significant issues with the water quality, making us worry about our health. The tight camping stalls were also a bit of a nuisance, especially for those with larger trailers. Overall, it served its purpose for a quick overnight stay, but improvements are definitely needed.

The campsite had medium to large trailer stalls that felt a bit cramped.

The campsite in Blue River has a quirky charm and is situated near Lake Eleanor, which offers various outdoor activities like canoeing and paddleboarding. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and the unique honesty box concept for late arrivals. However, I found the proximity to the highway quite noisy, and the site felt crowded with not much privacy. It took longer than expected to reach the lake, making it difficult to use the rental canoes, and I would consider alternative accommodations next time.

Rooms

The accommodations were a bit run down, chaotic, and lacked privacy, but they were suitable for camping.
Service

The service was acceptable, but I felt a greater structure would benefit the experience.
Location

The site is just a short walk from Lake Eleanor, but it's close to a busy highway, which creates noise.

The giant sand pit was a hit with the kids, but there weren't enough washroom facilities for the number of sites.

I had a mixed experience at the campsite. On one hand, the outdoor cooking area was convenient and the washrooms were clean. On the other hand, I faced issues with my reservation and the overall atmosphere left much to be desired. While the campsite is close to the highway, it felt a bit neglected and could use some serious improvements.

Rooms

I ended up in a smaller cabin than I booked, and it was quite underwhelming, resembling a temporary accommodation rather than a cozy stay.
Service

The staff were quite rude when I raised my concerns about my booking, which really soured the experience.

The campsite is conveniently located near the highway, but it didn't feel very welcoming.

I had an overall mixed experience at the campground. It had some nice aspects like being a simple and convenient place to stay for the night. However, the cleanliness and facilities left much to be desired, especially with the water quality and very limited bathroom amenities. I wouldn't say it's worth the price I paid for the stay.

Rooms
5.0
I stayed in a deluxe cabin which was more like a poorly equipped trailer. It had a queen bed and a kitchen, but the fridge was incredibly noisy and the overall setup felt rundown and uninviting.
Service
5.0
The service was lacking as well; dealing with the laundry situation was frustrating since there was only one machine, and I got a snippy response when I asked about using it.
Location
6.0
The location was decent, somewhat hidden away but still easy enough to find. It's close to some beautiful scenery, but not enough to make up for the other issues.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were quite poor; only two toilets and showers for the amount of people camping, and the sani dump setup felt more like a joke.
